In our past lives, we have done a lot of work providing excellent customer service to others: we served at upscale restaurants, casual restaurants, an event facility, a diner and a coffee shop, worked in retail, as a cocktail waitress and a receptionist. We appreciate common courtesy and good service and know what goes into providing it to people. As patrons, we don't always receive these two staples. These are our thoughts and rants on those times.
We will try to be as specific as possible and try not to embellish, but most of what we want to talk about is how an interaction or experience made us feel. After all, is that not what good customer service is about - making the customer feel good?
